Hiiiiiiiii. I'm currently a senior in High School. I'm not really nervous to start this blog because I don't expect anyone to read it. Although it would be amazing if I could find some stranger who relates to me, I don't think I'll be pushing this blog out to people. I won't talk about anything too personal on here (anything that might reveal my identity) but I do want to be open so we'll see how that goes. Not a big population of people even read blogs now so I don't expect engagement, but I need somewhere I can feel like myself. I obviously am not using my real name but you can refer to me as Roxxane. I never felt fully able to express myself, whether that be because of judgment from others, or not knowing myself well enough to explain, I just haven't been able to. I'll be talking on my experiences as a teenage girl, reflecting on them, and trying to explore it feels to be in this transitioning stage in my life. Everything feels so real now, being an adult, being responsible, going to college. I'm into fashion so I will be expanding into that as well as politics, because really what is fashion without a bit of politics? I love movies as well so I'll be talking about a few of those too. I'll link a letterboxd but not any media forms as I like to stay away from getting too personal. Hopefully one day I'll have someone to read all this and take a peak at the inner-workings of my mind, but until then this blog will be my savior.
